Photo installation on flags by Antoine Grenez – created in the frame of FLOW UP Festival (Zinnema and others), curated by ECHOS

This installation is the result of an inner process of the artist and photographer Antoine Grenez, based on personal illusions. On the back of the pictures you will find some sentences that form a poem.

Stop the war
Within yourself
Composed by nukes of questions
Let you flow
Inside this hugging void
Heading toward simplicity
Manifesting your dreams
And synchronize your whole

The installation consists of 8 printed flags with abstract photographs designed to make people lose their standards. The flags were made in collaboration with Igor Fouqeray, an artist working mainly with metal. Grenez and Fouqeray textured and oxidized the metal to bring life and transformation to the process. Throughout the installation period, the flags will slowly disintegrate and become a victim of the passing of time.
